"Bombing for Peace makes As Much Sense As Fucking for Virginity"

Maybe not the nicest title that I could have come up with for this Christmas-Eve-Eve but what are you gonna do

I saw a 14 year old wearing a t-shirt that said that at the My Chemical Romance concert on December 1st. I'm jumping ahead of myself a little bit as far as the stories I promised to tell are. But I lost my post-it that had my list on it so you're going to have to read them as I feel like typing them.

My Chemical Romance are absolutely terrific in concert! Although there were so many kids there that the International Centre actually had a parents waiting room set up!

The show was one of the best I've seen this year! We were lucky to get tickets because I just happened to log on to Ticketmaster a couple of hours after they went on sale on the Saturday that they went up. I heard that it sold out that weekend so we were pretty lucky. I know a few people who wanted to go but couldn't get tix!

On a sadder band note, I got an email from Jeff a while ago and I'm very sad to tell you that the Pg-13's have broken up! That means that those of us who bought the Operation Threeway CD now have a collectors item, because Jeff is a bad-ass punk rock guy so eventually he's gonna be a huge rockstar!

There is a big party at my place on January 14th so you're all welcome to come although only my friends have been given the address. Sorry to you random people who are reading this and who don't actually know me, email me and if I like the sound of ya I'll let you know where to be, if I don't like ya I'll still tell ya where to go but you definately won't have a lot of fun there!

I'm lucky and work has closed for all of next week! So I will blog more in 2006...unless someone really likes me and buys me a computer for Christmas!!!

So Many Posts So Little Time!

I know I know, I've been promising more updates for weeks, unfortunately my home computer decided that it didn't want to socialize with the internet anymore and my begging my parents to buy me a new one doesn't seem to be working. For some reason my mom thinks her trip to Mexico is more important! I'm just kidding, with all sincerity I do believe that my mom deserves 1000 trips to Mexico after the year she has had. As a matter of fact you guys should all send me money to send her on more trips- I think she deserves a week of vacation somehwere sunny for every week that she was in Radiation.

Okay, on to something interesting....

In September I was lucky and won my frist contest ever!!! If that in itself wasn't exciting enough the Prize was 2 tickets to see our Lady Peace at Massey Hall! Which Kicks ass because as some may remember in High School we all hung out with Naveed Girl ALOT! So after Sasha and I waited in line for about 2 hours in the COLD we got our tickets and our wrist bands and had an hour to kill before the show actually started. So we went and had some dinner, first time I ever tried Popeye's Chicken and it was GREAT!
We went back to Massey hall and got our seats and the setup was taking a long time and there were a lot of cameras. When I noticed that they were doing white bounce tests for the cameras I turned to Sasha and I said "they're taping this whole show that's not just the news cameras I bet they're donig a live at Massey Hall DVD" and not half and hour later they announced that they were taping the show for the DVD! I rule I called it! So the show ended up being absolutely terrific!!! And now we're just waiting to hear about the DVD release.
