I HATE EVERYTHING!

I'm in a bitch of a mood today and won't be doing any more work if possible!

So I come into work this morning and larry calls me into his office, I'm being cut down to a 4 day work week. So I don't work on Mondays anymore.

Now to some this might seem like a not so bad deal and you're right it is nice to have an extra long weekend.

Unfortunately, with this comes a pay cut, which fucking sucks!

Guess I'll be putting off University night school for another semester.

I hate this, why is it that I get fucked around constantly for work. the only reason si stay in this shit hole of a city is so that I can go to night school, but my jobs keep fucking me over so I can't even afford to go.

Survived!

Well this update is a few days over due at the least! I made it through my surgery on Tuesday. Maria came with me to the hospital and sat with me before the operation and afterwards. My mom got to the hospital not long after I was brought down from the post-op recovery room to the hurry up and wake up an get the hell out of our hospital recovery room. Then my mom drove us back here. The day after the operation my mom and I did some shopping and she bought me some really nice high chairs for the balcony for my birthday (even though it's still a month away) so now I can sit and enjoy the view when I'm out there. On Thursday we drove home to Cornwall and I took the bus back here today. I have to work tomorrow but I'm going to have to take Tuesday off because I have to go to the doctors and have all of the packing taken out of my ear, I think that he takes the stitches out then too.

Pardon the lack of details about the recovery process but I have been in a bit of a Percacet fog ever since I got out of the hospital.

Not much else new, I got a gmail account so you can all start e-mailing me there. Hopefully I'll be able to faze out the hotmail account soon! My gmail address is poppystone@gmail.com

Happy Grad

Last night I went to Maria's graduation at Humber, it was good suspiciously similar to my own except they sang a song from the Lion King after hers and after mine we had an Alladin song.
I waited for her Aunt and Uncle but didn't find them finially I found Dalyce, Maria's boss, and she had found them and sent them in already. I took a bunch of pictures and e-mailed them to Maria so that she could send them to her parents. All in all it was a good evening, I brought home a purse full of cookies!

The hyperlink isn't working AGAIN!!! so copy and paste that or go to the star web site and type in Karin Terluk, K-why's got herself an article in the paper.

and then last night I had to use the girls room during the graduation but the one near the gym had a line up out the door so I ventured further into the school, then they wouldn't let me back into the ceremony, even though I had three tickets! So I went over to Java Jazz and grabbed a V8 and started reading this weeks Eye and I got to about the third page and there's an ad for CPused, a nice little ad of the store and three of their happy employees drooling over a Mac, But who do my wondering eyes see, hocking a Mac in Eye? PAUL!!!!

I can't wait to make fun of him, I even saved the ad!

Barf-Free

Hi guys you'll be happy to know that my not eating before I was getting my bloodwork done yesterday was a good plan, as there was no vomit action! SO that was good, then I had to wait around for a few hours to see the doctor, then I had to wait in the cold room for 1/2 an hour and then spent 5 minutes with the doctor signing the consent form and I was on my way.

For the record anyone who is planning on eating one of the new chocolate tarts from Tims, it's not mousse inside it's just chocolate custard! MOUSSE HAS AIRBUBBLES!!!! Hmmm, maybe I'll see if I can sue them for false advertizing! They tell me Mousse and I'm expecting bubbles!!

DISHES - TO EACH HER OWN!

Hey there I'm at work and the day is winding down so soon I get to go home and chillax!!!

Looking forward to resting it up on the couch, I should cook some chicken I defrosted but I'll see about that. They were turning off the kitchen water today and maybe for tomorrow to do repairs so if it's back on I'll cook, if it's off I won't, I don't want to upset the salmonila gods!

On the issue of dishes, I'm getting so frustrated with them. Obvoiusly we had to wash up last night but as usual Lexie cooked a big messy dinner to bring to her boyfriend (who doesn't like to have his dinner wrapped in tinfoil when she brings it over to him) and leaves.

I really think that I'm going to have to take a stand with her about that. She constantly leaves dirty dishes. And I swear 85% of the time I'll be watching TV in the living room and she'll be banging about in there (you know unreasonably loud - which I'm convinced she does intentionally to drive me mad) but no matter how much I hope she's not doing the dishes she just piles them all on the counter to fester! Which is gross but was easier to deal with in the winter, but it's summer now and where there's dirt there's bugs!

No my aunt's idea is that I should just start throwing her dishes in the garbage, I'm just hoping that we don't get to that, because she always uses mine!

I have avoided conflict with her for the last few months and I just think that I have to say something, Maria and I have tried the silent battle by refusing but I think that the time has come to declare to all the kingdom of apartment 2102 "TO EACH HER OWN"

Of course I'm going to do this the passive agressive way and just write it on the fridge.

I'll let you know how it works out!

Oh yeah, and tomorrow I have to go and get my blood test done, I'll let you know the distance of the projectile vomit!

I've edited this like 5 times now hopefully I won't think of anything to add for a few minutes at least!

So I went to McDonalds today to pick up lunch for me and Jacquie and I ordered 2 1/4lb meals and they gave me a McChicken with it for no reason! There was a little bit of fighting going on for that. Mostly because I asked the girls if they wanted it and got no response so as Jeff was walking by the door I offered it to him, well Nancy freaks out and demands it because he had just gotten back from his lunch. She's a little uber-bitchy today, the fact is that she had just finished eating 2 tuna sandwiches!

Brantford Survived

So yesterday I spend all day in Brantford for my cousin Emily's graduation party, it was okay. Not nearly as bad as I had expected it to be.
Saw a bunch of family, drank some really good coconut rum punch (I'll make it for you the nect time you come over) had dinner and drove back home.

Here's an interesting story thougth as some people may know my aunt has an ex-husband who she's still on good terms with for the kids. So she's been driving the same big green van for years now and he's bugged her for years to get a new car. Well Mothers day rolls around and guess who gets a new car! So you're saying to yourself wow I gotta get me an ex-husband who'll buy me a car! The key is to get an ex-husband who will buy you a brand new Mercades!

And that's my story of the day!

My life is rated R.

Blogging, By Popular Demand

On Monday....
Pretty Boring, went to work. Went home, went to yoga. Went back home. roommate was in bitch-mode and took over living room with boyfriend to watch hockey (which made her bitchier) so I went outside

On Tuesday....
I'm at work and I can feel a tickling on my foot, I look down and there is a bug crawling up it!!! I (obvoiusly, cause it's me) freak out and spill my coffee all over myself and my desk. Fortunately my co-worker who was in the office at the time isn't as freakish about bugs as I am killed it for me and helped me clean up the coffee!

On Wednesday...
Not too much interesting. Just worked then chilled with the Pauls and Heather.

On Thursday...
The people who work at Tim Hortens are stupid, I ended up with a free bagel because they put cream cheese on one I ordered to just have butter on it and they let me keep both.

Yep I'm boring, I have to go to Brantford on Sunday for my cousin's graduation BBQ that should be as fun-filled as every family event.

By Golly I think I've got it

http://ca.f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/poppy_stone
Big Week
I just had a prtty big week, as far as weeks go. I found out that I'm goign to get to have my ear surgery on the 22nd of this month, so much for the four weeks notice I was supposed to get! Either way though it's good, my boss gave me the week off fo it without any problems. I always get so freaked out when I have to ask for time off for anything.
I've got to go for my pre-op assessment on the 16th and I think that I"m more worried about that than about having the operation itself! I just don't deal well with people taking my blood, I've had it done like 4 times in my life and I have invariably barfed every time. This one's at 10:00 am so hopefully by skipping breakfast I'll eliminate the possibility of projectile vomit.

The Arb

I went to the arb today and bought a book and a picnic and had a very nice day. I took some pictures and I'd post them on here if I could figure out how.
I'm going to figure out how to start an album on yahoo or something so that you guys can see how far into the arb the new res has gone. It was a nice day though. And no matter how far into the arb res comes some things will never change. There was a group of guys at the round table when I was leaving.

But yes, for now I'm off to yahoo to figure out a way to let you guys see these pics, I'll post the link when I get one.
