Current mood:  bitchy I'm so sleepy and tired, I just want to go home and have a nap. I've got to go out to dinner with my parents tonight, I have dinner with them every week but usually its just at their place so its relaxed. Oh well, at least theyre picking me up at work so I dont have to take the TTC again today. Im gonna try to listen to something that will make me cheery, but my selection of songs on my PC at work is limited so heres hoping for the best.  | Currently listening:

Current mood:  pissed off So Im finding this whole hearing aid thing at work a lot overwhelming and its not helping that Ive got some asshole calling me wither an emu or a cat on here, the comments have since been deleted, but fuck that! Hes not 5 being jelous (of nothing) is not an excuse! The fax machine beside my desk beeps every once and awhile for some reason, we never knew why, but when it does it causes feedback in my ear which sucks, mostly because it means that either me or the fax machine is going to have to move, and because it is more difficult to move me thats probably what this place is gonna do! Im in a god awful mood today its mostly just because Im finding hearing so overwhelming. Everything that used to just be a quiet murmer is now distinguishable words which is pretty fucked up. So the people who annoyed me before are like 50 times more annoying now, Hearing may make me a violent person. Then theres the fact that Im fucking overworked! And even after my 2 hour meeting with HR and the VP of the company where I was promised help a month ago Im still getting nothing but further behind. I was off yesterday but I still managed to get 20 emails of work and a box full of voicemail too. Dont people listen to the message that says that Im not here. Like 5 of the emails were labeled URGENT what the fuck when you get the out of office message they should have just moved onto someone else to ask, but no instead I get a second email telling me to do this first fuck you, youre not the fucking boss of me, Ill do your shit when I get to it. Im definitely a riled up bitch today and Im gonna loose it on someone if they cross my path! I cannot be blamed! Im all hormonal and fucked up because of the hearing shit! Current mood:  satisfied Well the party was good, thanks to everyone who came! Especially Paully who I don't think I'd seen in about 3 years (since K-why's b-day in the Loo) It was a good time! Not as hammered a time as I thought it would be but we were all sure well fed! Yesterday I worked from 7 am to 6 pm because I'm off today because I went to go get my hearing aid. I tried to take a pic of my ear with my new bionic hearing but I can't seem to get a good one so I'll wait till Sasha gets home, it's wierd everytime I took a pic I heard a clicking noise and I'm not sure if it's a noise that my camera makes that I never heard before or if there is some interference. I can tell you this though for sure things are freaking loud, like rusteling clothes or like right now I'm finding typing really loud. My audiologist told me to try to wear it today for only a few hours to get used to it. I took the TTC home which was wierd, I could actually understand what the delay announcement was about! When I got home I figured the best thing I could do was relax. So I watched a movie, and for the first time that I can remember I was able to lie on the couch on my right side and still hear the whole thing! It was the Brothers Grimm which was a disappointing movie all around but it was nice to be able to watch it comfortably without thinking about hearing it. I think that the hearing aid is going to change a lot for me. The only thing that I am worried about is that I can hear myself and it sounds like I'm talking through a mic so I think I might slip into my radio voice without realizing it. I guess some people have problems getting used to the sound of their own voice through the hearing aid...so I guess my majoring in radio journalism is paying off for once in my life. For now though I'm doing laundry and then I'm gonna do some dishes...I think I'll listen to silverchair as my first real hearing music...  | Currently listening:

Current mood:  annoyed Okay so Im having a bad day and if youre reading this I hope that you sympathise, but if you dont thats fine too. I probably sound like a spoiled kid half the time complaining about little things where there are much bigger problems that I could have and that other people have, but I dont care Im feeling like a pissy pants and thats all there is to it! I woke up this morning to find that my sweet Shera had been prowling all night. She broke a picture frame in my room, I remember hearing a thud last night btu shes always knocking crap over so I didnt bother with it. It was a really nice frame that I liked that had an old high school picture in it. So theres no really value I think I splurged and paid like $12 for the frame years ago but the sentimental value is what is upsetting. I dont know why my cat is mad at me! So to retaliate I closed mine and Sashas bedroom doors to punish her today, but now Im sitting here feeling guilty about it. Conculsion, cat people (including myself) are crazy! And thats not even the end of my kitty woes for the morning so I step out of my room and just barely miss a hairball that she threw up! I swear I might get too drunk at the party this weekend and just shave the cat because shes just got too much hair! My parents get their cats hair cut but Im not gonna pay like $100 to bring her to a groomer, yes my parents are nuts too! Then Im trying to make up for the fact that I missed Monday at work so I left the house early to try to be here half an hour early and what happened, Im fucking 15 minutes late because I had to wait for the street car for 45 minutes! What the hell! And TTC Drivers wonder why people are pissed off at them! Last time I checked FS on a schedule did not mean every 45 minutes! Oh and then theres the high school kids, who made the bus wait for 2 green lights so that they could all get onto the bus just so they could fucking ride it the one block up to school! How lazy do you have to be, seriously! My parents are pissing me off too, because of my brother. Its just unfair I have to spend time working at dead end jobs that I hate just so I can get my bills paid. Meanwhile my brother who will be turning 22 in exactly 4 weeks has never had a job in his life! So he lives at home and does nothing all day! They live across the street from the coal plant that got blown up on Monday and he fucking slept through it!!!! Its not like I want a free ride or anything but come on here theres something unhealthy about it, but lord knows that Im not allowed to say anything to him about it and anytime I ask my parents when hes gonna get a job or go to school or anything I get the same linewe cant make him do anything what the fuck, were from CORNWALL! Whose parents didnt throw them out in their teen years??? Ill admit that mine didnt but I would have fucking expected it if I chose to do absolutely nothing!  | Currently listening:

Seriosuly what kind of Monday morning is it when you wake up and your nose is bleeding for 45 minutes and while you're trying to get that under control your cat throws up! It's definately a sight for a Monday morning, me with tissues stuck to my nose trying to aim a vomiting cat off of the carpet and onto the hardwood floor (just because it's easier to clean up) yeah...after that...I called in sick! So when I started this poem this morning we both decided that I should finish it. I don't write poetry, in general poetry pisses me off, but I made this attempt. The last poem I wrote was when I was 13. I don't have a title yet, as I just finished writing the poem like 5 minutes ago. Here it goes: The only expense would be the gas, And still this lazy fucker can't get off his ass, Food, shelter, and party included, Still, visiting his sister the loser eluded. Category: Blogging Well good morning....I get to walk to work today! Lucky me! I just got back yesterday from my cousin's wedding, it was a 10 hour drive. And I'm off work tomorrow to go get my hearing aid so I absolutely MUST be there today because I have stuff that has to go out before the end of the month. So it fucking sucks! Now, I live at Lakeshore and Parklawn and I get to walk to Bloor and Kipling. Oh and of course there's a smog advisory today so they're telling people not to be out a lot today. I can tell you I'm gonna be tired by the time I lug my ass home tonight! What will be more interesting will be to figure out how to get to Sunnybrook tomorrow without transportation, there's no way I'll be able to walk there....and a cab would be like $40 each way the day before payday, tell me who has like an extra $100 lying around the day before payday and the week after being on vacation!!! Category: Blogging So I'm leaving in about an hour to go to the states for my cousin's wedding, which will be interesting, I am not looking forward to going and a lot of people have told me that "with the Canadian dollar at what it is you should go shopping" now I hate shopping more than I dread my family so, no, shopping is not a consolation!!!! I'll be back on Saturday or Sunday but I will likely not have the net until then, my mom's bringing her laptop with her but I'd have to pry it away from my brother to actually get to use it and he might look like a not so tough guy but good luck fighting him when it comes to a computer.
You know what, I've decided that I'm going to try to have a good time and live up to the Irish in me when it comes to the open bar!

Current mood:  flirty Well well well, the first long weekend of the summer is approching us and I've got no plans at all! That's all good though. I'm going to Connecitcut next week for my cousin's wedding so I didn't make any plans for this weekend, I'm looking forward to doing a whole lot of nothing. My aunt is having a BBQ but I'm not going to it because I'm going to be stuck with Family from Wednesday to Sunday next week so I have to prepare my self for that. The last big family gathering we had ended with my ear bleeding, picture a big family of Irish Quebecers and you'll understand...you know I never thought I'd dred the words "open bar" but with my family the results are disatrous, the last wedding we had in the family ended with my aunt screaming at me and whipping her purse at me because she allowed her (then 16 year old) daughter to get drunk. And I didn't feel like I should have to babysit. Don't even ask. My family's messed up! Oh yeah, I have a fun story that happened to me last night! So I went out to the store to pick up some ingredients for cookies to bring to work today (were having another one of our food days) and when I came home there was a gaggle of hot guys in the hallway who had charming accents. They were trying to get up to sign up for some hydro thing, I made sure that I could cancel whatever it was and then the guy spent like 15 minutes explaining everything to me, he was so cute, and I told him that his accent was charming he's from New Zealand and has only been in Canada for like a week. Sashas convinced that he was totally smitten with me, he dropped everything he was holding at least once and also forgot to fill out the paperwork properly so he had to come back a while later, it was great.  | Currently listening:
